LILA was established as an in independent language school by two sisters. Since then the school has gone from strength to strength, resulting in brand new, custom designed school in the heart of Liverpool city center. LILA is located in the heart of Liverpool city, on the doorstep of Liverpool One shopping and social complex. School offers students learning English in Liverpool the opportunity to learn English in contemporary learning facilities, providing everything that a student could possibly wish for: quality teaching, value for money, wide range of courses, a great location, personal service and comprehensive social programme will all help shape your experience here at LILA. Learning Environment

LILA is located in the heart of the iconic city of Liverpool. We are based in the city centre right on the main high street, on the doorstep of the Liverpool One shopping complex and a five minute walk from the Pier Head UNESCO World Heritage site. LILA is also a five minute walk from all major bus and train stations which makes it convenient to travel to and from your accommodation.

Accommodation

Independent Living (Shared Student Accommodation) (18+)

Available all year subject to availability.
Independent Living is accommodation for students willing to share with other tenants (LILA/Non-LILA). It is ideal for students who want to share with friends or meet people and have independence during their stay. Students can book single/double/twin rooms, subject to availability. Independent Living ranges from houses to self-contained flats within larger accommodation blocks all of which is recently refurbished and modern. All of our shared accommodation is located in popular student areas with access to local amenities (shops, bars etc) and with good transport links. Communal areas are cleaned and maintained regularly by the accommodation management teams. Maximum journey 45 minutes, average 20 minutes. All shared accommodation is self catering and includes; bedding, modern furniture, kitchen utensils, shared kitchen/bathroom facilities, modern common area for students with TV, onsite check in Wi-Fi or internet and laundry facilities. Some properties have Sky/digital television and IT suite. Some properties have car parking on request. Please note that some Independent Living facilities charge a nominal fee for laundry (approx £3).

Homestay: Half Board

Available all year subject to availability. Maximum journey 45 minutes, average 20 minutes.
Homestay is perfect those students who want to immerse themselves in the English culture. Staying with local people they are welcomed into the family so that they have a home away from home. Please note that half board is breakfast and dinner, Monday to Saturday, and lunch is included on Sundays.

Staying with a local host provides students with a home environment but the independence of a student residence. Students have their own room with access to a kitchen and shared bathroom. Hosts range from singles or couples to young professionals.

University Residence

University Residence is quality city centre accommodation for students willing to share with other students of LILA. It is high standard, modern accommodation with en-suite facilities, common areas and fully equipped kitchens. University Residence is located within walking distance of LILA and is perfect for groups of friends coming together and wanting to share a flat or even for a single traveller looking to make friends! All University Residence accommodation includes: single en-suite bedrooms, shared kitchen facilities, common areas, Wi-Fi, 24 hour check in, onsite management and security, laundry facilities and digital television in the common areas. Please note that some University Residence accommodation facilities charge a nominal fee for laundry (approx £3). Internet connection is available in the residence for a small fee.

Modern Hostel

Available all year subject to availability.
A modern city centre based hostel with 4-10 bed dorms, shared kitchen/bathroom facilities and breakfast included. The modern hostel option is ideal for groups of friends on a tight budget. Walking distance to LILA. Includes: shared dormitories, light breakfast, clean linen, access to self catering kitchens, lounge area for study and free Wi-Fi access.
