Overview
The Royal Veterinary College (informally the RVC) is a veterinary schoollocated in London, England and a constituent collegeof the federal University of London. The RVC was founded in 1791 and joined the University of London in 1949. It is the oldest and largest veterinary school in the United Kingdom, and one of only seven where students can study to become a Vet. Location
The RVC has two campuses - one in central London and one in Hertfordshire. The Camden campus is within easy walking distance of King's Cross, St Pancras International and Euston train stations, as well as Mornington Crescent and Camden Town Underground stations and Camden Road (overground). The Hawkshead campus in Hertfordshire is a short drive from Potters Bar, which is a 15 minute train journey from London King's Cross Station.

Learning environment
The Camden Campus is where our veterinary medicine students spend the first two years of their course and is where our bio veterinary and biological science students spend most of their time, along with many postgraduate students. The main campus building houses:

Accommodation
In Camden Campus there are two RVC halls – College Grove (which is on site) and Mary Brancker House, which is a 20 minute walk away in Kentish Town. Both are self-catered, and all students have their own en-suite room.
- College Grove: Situated on the Camden Campus, College Grove offers modern, self-catering accommodation for 83 occupants in 12 maisonette properties. Each maisonette consists of seven single study bedrooms (one with disabled access) and a kitchen/dining room. Each bedroom has en-suite facilities and is equipped with contemporary furniture & soft furnishings.Free Internet & wi-fi access is available in each bedroom.
- Mary Brancker House: 178 beds are spread across four, six or seven bedroom apartments with self-catering facilities. The apartments have well–equipped kitchens with lots of storage space and a lounge area. All bedrooms are en-suite and include a TV aerial socket and Internet access is available. A common room with a large flat screen television and seating area is situated on the ground floor. There are on-site coin operated laundry facilities and secure bike storage.
